Over the course of a weekend, participants reconnect with their bodies, develop sensitivity in touch and cultivate grounded attention in relation to themselves, others, and the natural environment by learning the fundamental basics of Touch with Awareness and doing Inner Work.

The retreat invites participants into a space of quiet attention, shared practice, and embodied learning. Through meditation, Taoist internal arts, Do-In and gentle movement, we explore how awareness arises through the body and how touch can become a tool for listening, safety, connection and care.

The teaching focuses on foundational principles of shiatsu and touch awareness — including posture, grounding, breath, presence, and relational sensitivity. Rather than technique alone, the emphasis is on learning to perceive subtle qualities in the body: tension and release, aliveness, rhythm, and flow. Participants will practice basic shiatsu skills in a supportive and non-technical way, suitable for beginners.

Nature, environment, and community form an essential part of the experience. The workshop creates a rhythm between practice, rest, shared meals, and silent moments, allowing learning to unfold organically. Our goal is that participants leave with:

· a deeper connection to their body and inner perception,
· a gentler and more conscious relationship with touch,
· simple practices they can integrate into daily life,
· and a renewed sense of grounding, openness, and presence.
